Rosado's Bio
Miguel D. Rosado is a 16-year veteran of the fire service. He is a Pro-Board-Certified Fire Service Instructor 3. Miguel is a career firefighter with the City of New Haven FD, holding the rank of Deputy Chief and is assigned to Car 32.
Miguel has a passion for teaching, he held the rank of Assistant Drillmaster/Training Officer for the City of New Haven before being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He was then promoted to Captain, where he was assigned to Squad Company 2, Rescue 1 and Truck Company 4, before becoming a Battalion Chief. He is also an adjunct instructor for the Connecticut Fire Academy and Spec International and a Rescue Specialist for FEMA US&R MATF-1. Miguel has cross-trained in multiple disciplines attaining various licenses and Pro-Board Certifications.
